Qinghua plate with a picture showing the porcelain making process Height: 4.4cm Mouth diameter: 28.4cm Base diameter: 15.5cm The Republic of China Collection, Museum of Ceramics of Jingdezhen, Jiangxi Province With everted mouth with flattened rim, shallow belly, and ring foot, the inner wall of the plate is painted with a picture in blue color showing the porcelain manufacturing which depicts all the technological processes from raw eggshell painting, and firing on one only plate. Special emphasis is laid on the eggshelling throwing workshop and the kiln. Some people are standing there to draw patterns on the large vases; some sitting to draw the small bows; some taking the eggshells away and some applying the glaze on a work. The sunning racks are full of eggshells. It makes the productive environment buzzing with activity. Serving as a foil to the above painting, eight ruyi-shaped panels on tapestry-like ground are painted around the outer rim of the plate. The picture is neatly and carefully painted; the pigments are crystal-clear. It is a typical genre painting of porcelain manufacturing richly endowed with interested and charm. A blue character-mark written in regular script reading Made by Chen Xinxing of Jingdezhen, Jiangxi is inscribed underneath the base.

Qinghua plate with decoration of contrasting colored curios and antiques Height: 5.2cm Mouth diameter: 38.8¡Á29.5cm Xuantong Reign, Qing Dynasty Provincial Museum of Jiangxi Open mouth with wide edge; the plate is in the shape of oval. There is a´ó-shaped groove in the center of the plate, the depth of the groove is 2 cm, equals to the height of the two curved oblong-shaped feet in the other end, so the plate can stand stable. The inner wall is decorated with the Taoist miscellaneous treasures and curios and antiques painting; the outer wall with four floral sprays. This kind of plate is very rare in the domestic and should be an exported good from the view of the modeling style.

Plate with yellow dragon pattern in blue glaze Height: 5.5cm Mouth diameter: 32cm Guangxu Reign, Qing Dynasty Jingdezhen Pottery & Porcelain Museum, Jiangxu Province Open mouth, curved belly-wall, and ring foot. The center of the plate is with coiled dragon playing a pearl design, highlighted by floating clouds. The inner and outer walls are respectively with two dragons playing a pearl design; and the border of the foot with flowers filling into some up-lotus. All the body is with patterns in yellow on blue ground. There are four characters Made in Chu Xiu Gong Workshop in the seal character-mark in two rows in underglaze blue in the base. This work is an imperial utensil, made in the imperial kiln in Guangxu Reign.

Plate with decoration of figures in Fencai Height: 6cm Mouth diameter: 8.2cm Guangxu Reign, Qing Dynasty Provincial Museum of Jiangxi Open mouth, oblique and slightly bulging belly, and ring foot. The inner wall is with log-raft boat in fencai on white ground, on the boat are some men and women and kids, among them a woman is steering the boat, and an immortal old man and an immortal crane holding ¡°longevity peach¡± on the back is just falling down from the sky. The outer wall of the plate is with the four official script character-marks of longevity and peony and coiled plant pattern in green-blue on yellow glaze ground. There are six characters Made in Guangxu Reign, Qing Dynasty in the regular script character-mark in green-blue in the base.

Plate with Chinese wisteria flower pattern in Fencai Height: 5cm Mouth diameter: 21.8cm Guangxu Reign, Qing Dynasty Palace Museum, Beijing Open mouth, curved wall, and ring foot. The center of the plate is with full of Chinese wisteria flower in fencai on green ground; the inner wall is with the regular script character-mark of Da Ya Zhai ¨C Elegant Room and the oval stamp with red-characters of Spring is in air. There are six characters Made in Guangxu Reign, Qing Dynasty in the regular script character-mark in red on white glaze ground in the base. This work is one of the tableware special for the imperial court, made in Jingdezhen in Guangxu Reign.

The inner wall is decorated with colored double dragons playing a pearl on yellow glaze ground: one is green, and the other is brown. Around the dragons exists the cloud patterns. The outer wall is decorated with flower and fruit in yellow, green and purple. There are six characters Made in Tongzhi Reign, Qing Dynasty in the regular script character-mark in brown in the base.

Big plate with decoration of Sui Chao (lucky and happy new lunar year) in Fencai on yellow ground Height: 10cm Mouth diameter: 63cm Base diameter: 35cm Tongzhi Reign, Qing Dynasty Palace Museum, Beijing Open mouth, curved wall, and ring foot. The inner wall is with a hundred of children at play in fencai on white ground; the mouth edge and the base are respectively with a line of golden color; the outer wall with children at play in fencai on yellow ground. The place near the foot shows two circular golden colors. There are four characters auspicious and good luck in the regular script character-mark in red and white glaze in the base, which express the Tongzhi Emperor¡¯s will of his government to be fortune and to last forever.

The painting color is magnificent on fresh green ground. The mouth edge is circularly decorated with alum-red-colored tapestry-like pattern traced in golden. The base is in fresh green and with six red characters Made in Qianlong, Qing Dynasty in the seal character-mark in the center.
