| Jiang
Tingxi was born in Changshu of Jiangsu, with name Yangsun,
also name Qiujun, nickname Xigu, another nickname Nansha,
the famous nickname is Qingtong Lay Buddhist. He won
a successful candidate in 1703, and worked at college.
Jiang liked painting the flowers when he was child,
and followed Jun Shouping, and consulting all kinds
of famous works at the begging, then talking with Ma
Yuanchai, Gu Wenyuan. His works was full of natural,
refined, vivid and special style. He was the founder
in the flowers and birds painting of Jiang faction since
the natural flowers painting of Jun Taoping. Sometimes,
he would paint the fold-branch in ink for strewing the
stones, orchid items, extremely special. Comparing between
Chenchun and Xuwei, later people appraised that his
works with vivid form and bright shape were almost the
royal collections in the courts, seldom found in the
folk, so his authentic works were few. |
