| Tangying
was born in Wuxian of Jiangsu and is a Ming artist and
litterateur with name Bohu, another name Ziwei, also called
Liuru Buddhist, peach hut master, escaping immortal lay
Buddhist. He got the Number One prize in the countryside,
but because of the involved cheat in the examination,
he was cancelled from the test. Later, Zhu Huanhao gathered
persons with ability, and retained Tangying, but Zhu Huanhao
had another purpose, so Tangying pretended to be mad and
was returned to Wuzhong area. He traveled around and made
a living with selling his paintings. He with Shenzhou,
Wen Zhengming and Qiuying were called "the famous four
people in Ming dynasty". |
