| Wangyi was born in Taicang of Jiangsu during Qing dynasty, with name Richu, nickname Dongzhuang, also called Dongzhuang master. He loved traveling the landscape, visiting famous places, researching the secrets of artists in Song and Yuan Dynasties. His landscape works are thin but not weak, scattered but orderly. |
