| Qiuyou was born in Suzhou of Jiangsu
with name Ziqiu, nickname Fengqiu, without the exact birthday.
Following Liu Songnian, Qian Shunju, he studied the landscape
painting, especially the beauty characters. He once painted
the temple wall of west gate Guandi in Taicang of Jiangsu, and
painted the Buddhists on the wall of the Buddhism books store.
He copied to paint the "five old man of Zhuiyang" (the five
old man including Duyan, Wanghuan, Bi Shichang, Zhuguan, Fengping)
and Family Zhu kept it. The coquettish beauty in line drawing
was called Qiuying's continuous. His works of "the eighth immortals
drinking" in 1571, "taste the ancient picture" in 1572, "red
dressing" in 1575 have been collected in Museum of the Imperial
Palace. The works of "change of the wind and cloud" in 1573
is collected in China art museum, "characters and landscape"
in 1554 is collected in Shanghai museum, "i-go" in 1580 is collected
in Tianjing art museum. His art career started from Jiajing
to WanLee of Ming dynasty. |
